Why we started
Most campervans spend nine months a year in a drive. Their owners would happily lend them, if someone handled the insurance, the payment and the paperwork. We built Frehia to do exactly that, so travellers can rent a van from someone who loves it, and owners can pay for it while they are not using it.
Private owners and pros, side by side
On Frehia you rent from private owners who built their van themselves and from rental companies with a fleet of recent motorhomes. Every profile says which is which.
Insured from the first kilometre
Every booking comes with insurance and 24/7 roadside assistance. Owners are checked by our team before their first listing goes online, and travellers' licences before the keys change hands.
Fair to everyone
Owners set their own prices and keep most of every booking. Travellers pay the price they see, with insurance included.
